Privacy Policy

Last updated: 17 May 2026

Latefy Consulting FZCO, trading as "Spain Developments", respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal data. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, why, what we do with it, and the rights you have. It applies to the website www.spaindevelopments.com and to any contact you have with us by email, phone, WhatsApp or our forms.

Although our company is established in the United Arab Emirates, we offer services to individuals located in the European Economic Area (EEA). We therefore process personal data in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679, the General Data Protection Regulation ("GDPR").

Who is responsible for your data

The data controller is Latefy Consulting FZCO, a Free Zone Company established in the United Arab Emirates, trading as Spain Developments. You can contact us about any data protection matter at [email protected].

What data we collect

Depending on how you interact with us, we may collect:

We do not intentionally collect special categories of data such as health, religion or political views. Please do not include such information in your messages to us.

Why we use your data and our legal basis

We use your personal data for the following purposes, each with a lawful basis under Article 6 of the GDPR:

We do not make decisions about you based solely on automated processing that produce legal or similarly significant effects.

Marketing communications, including WhatsApp

Where you have given consent, we send marketing communications such as property updates, new launches and offers. Email marketing is sent through our email and marketing provider. WhatsApp marketing is sent through the WhatsApp Business Platform, operated by Meta, using our messaging provider Brevo.

You can withdraw your consent and stop receiving marketing at any time - for email, by using the unsubscribe link in any marketing email; for WhatsApp, by replying to ask us to stop or by using the opt-out option in the message. Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal.

Who we share your data with

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only where necessary, with: service providers who help us run our business and act on our instructions, including our website hosting provider, our email, marketing and WhatsApp messaging provider (Brevo), and our website analytics provider (Google Analytics); the WhatsApp Business Platform operated by Meta, where you have opted in to WhatsApp contact; property developers, where you ask us to arrange a viewing of, or pass on an enquiry about, a specific development; our professional advisors; and public authorities where we are required to disclose data by law.

Where a third party acts as our data processor, we put in place a written contract requiring them to protect your data and use it only on our instructions.

International transfers

Because our company is based in the United Arab Emirates and some of our service providers operate outside the European Economic Area, your personal data may be transferred to and processed in countries outside the EEA. Where this happens, we rely on appropriate safeguards permitted by the GDPR, such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses. You can request more information about these safeguards by contacting us.

How long we keep your data

We keep personal data only for as long as necessary for the purpose it was collected, and then delete or anonymise it. Enquiry data is kept while it is needed to assist you and for a reasonable period afterwards; account data is kept while your account is active; marketing data and consent records are kept until you withdraw consent and for a reasonable period afterwards to evidence that consent; and data needed for legal or accounting reasons is kept for the period required by applicable law.

How we protect your data

We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorised access, loss, misuse or alteration, including encrypted connections, access controls and the careful selection of service providers. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, but we work to keep our protections current.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to access your personal data, to have inaccurate data corrected, to have your data erased, to restrict or object to its processing, to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time where we rely on it. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at [email protected]. We will respond within one month, as required by the GDPR. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the data protection authority in the EEA country where you live or work, although we would appreciate the chance to address your concern first.

Cookies

This website uses cookies and similar technologies. Non-essential cookies are only used with your consent. For details, see our Cookie Policy.

Children

This website and our services are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or the law. When we make a material change, we will update the date at the top of this page.
