The New Golden Mile is the coastal corridor between Estepona and Marbella's San Pedro, and one of the most active new-build zones on the entire Costa del Sol. Named in echo of Marbella's original Golden Mile, it has attracted a concentration of modern beachside and golf developments, from contemporary apartment complexes to gated villa communities.
Buyers are drawn by newer, energy-efficient homes with resort-style facilities — pools, gyms, spas — often at a lower price than equivalent addresses closer to Puerto Banús. Its position between two towns, with beaches, golf and amenities all close by, makes it a strong all-round choice.

The New Golden Mile puts you between Estepona and Marbella with the beach on one side and golf courses inland: beach clubs, the Laguna Village retail and dining hub, and a run of modern developments define the area. Puerto Banús is around 10 minutes east and Estepona town 10 minutes west.
